Howdy Folks! Well, it's been awhile since our last updates. Danny has been really busy with touring Australia and also with having Andy Hersey and The Black Crowes in his studio. Danny will be sending us some new goodies soon so we may overhaul his site. In the meantime, here's a recent pic of Danny in the studio. Check it out!

Update
04.29.04
Hi all..wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who posted a message for
me when I left the band last month. I really appreciated all the nice
things you had to say and well wishes you wanted to send. It really was a
pleasure to be able to play for you all.
Speaking of playing, I will be doing some shows at the end of May with Bree
Sharp and Don Dilego. The locale's will be St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St.
John U.S. Virgin Isles (May 27- June 2, 2004). For any of you that show
up...first round at the Cantina is on me. Cheers! Danny
Update 06.19.03
SMALL TOWN FESTIVAL SEYMOUR, IN.
Hey out there....Many of you have asked if I was going to do an acoustic
show at The Small Town Festival in Seymour, IN. for The Southern Indiana
Cultural Arts Center Aug. 9 ,2003.
Being invited to play at this 1st Annual Event was really very special
and I
appreciate everyone's interest, but I will not be performing at this event
being that I will be on tour with The Peacemakers in Dallas, TX. on this
date. I was hoping to play both events but the planes just can't go fast
enough.
For those of you in the Midwest
planning to go, I hope you will still attend
the event. It is a very good organization that supports the arts in the
midwest with John Mellencamp as it's founder and benefactor. There will
be
lots of cool performers and I am sure it will be a fun day all around
so get
out there to SUPPORT THE ARTS!
My sister Holly will be at
the Festival selling copies of my new record
"South of The Big Town", so stop by her table and say "Hello".
We will be
donating $5 for each record sold to The Southern Indiana Cultural Arts
Center so buy TWO!!
Thanks and I'll see you soon. Danny
Update:
05.24.03
Hey
everybody... I am proud to announce that we have secured our first retail
outlet for "South of The Big Town!!!"
The record will be available at Allen's Supermarket in Palmyra,
IN. Allen's is a long time Harrison County establishment dating
back to the early 1950's so you can buy with confidence. It is also owned
by long time friend, Scott Trowbridge. While shopping at Allen's ask Scott
"The Weiner King of Palmyra" about his fresh vegtables, homegrown
fruits, and his specialty....Wolf's Weiner's and Sausages, home made right
there on the premises.
For every album sold at Allens' we are donating $5.00 to the Volunteer
Fire Department. This charity drive will go on until the end of June and
the annual, World Famous Palmyra Fish Fry. The album will also be available
at the Fish Fry.
Also, you can now purchase "South of the Big Town" at the Yucca
Tap Room and Long Wongs on
Mill.
Thanks. Danny
Update: 05.09.03
Hi and thank you
for your interest in my music and taking the time to visit this website.
Disc ordering information is now available in our online store.
You can now download MP3s listed below to the right
of the picture of the disc!!!
I will be releasing a new album on May 16, 2003 entitled "South of
The Big Town". This is the first of two albums that I will release
this year, the other to be finished this November. If you like what you
hear, stay tuned. "South of The Big Town" was nearly entitled
"Old Leather Bag" because my old leather song writing bag is
where most of the songs on this recording had been exiled for a long time.
Having a little time off this winter I thought: "Why not get some
of my friends together, do some recording, and let these tunes see the
light of day?"
So,"South
of the Big Town" is a house cleaning of sorts for me. Being that
these songs have never been recorded, I am getting quite a kick out of
finally hearing them on wax. I hope you enjoy them as well.
The recording being
offered is a very limited run that includes:
- Full color
CD booklet with lyrics and photos
- Full Color 12" Album Dust Cover with nearly 50
photographs
of everyone that contributed to the recording
- Gatefold Album Artwork with 12" Limited 140 Gram White vinyl
33 1/3 LP
I have printed 1000 of these, many of which are already
spoken for or are being used for promotional purposes. I expect that there
will be about 500 available on the release date. When these White Vinyl/CD
sets are gone they will not be re-printed.
If anyone should wish to contact me in regard to "South
of The Big Town" you can e-mail me at: webmaster@danielwhitemusic.com
Thanks again for your interest and see you soon.
